Throughout lockdown it has become painfully evident that everyone's go-to baking recipe is without a doubt, banana bread. This delicious treat has been made more times than we can count in the past three weeks. So, channel your inner Martha Stewart with the help of the wonderful Emma, AKA Mrs Hollingsworth. Ayurvedic Banana Bread Ingredients:

4 flax eggs (4 tbsp ground flaxseed with 12 tbsp cold water, set aside for 5 minutes to form a gel)

5 tablespoons coconut sugar

2 tbsp coconut oil

80g (2/3 cup) ground almonds

70g (2/3 cup) oats

2 tablespoons goji berries

3 ripe large bananas (or 4 medium), mashed

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 tsp ground ginger

1 tsp ground turmeric

Ayurvedic Banana Bread Method:

Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a loaf tin with baking paper. Add the oats, ground almonds, coconut sugar and spices to a bowl and stir until combined.

In another bowl, beat together the bananas, coconut oil and flax eggs, and slowly pour this in to the bowl with the dry ingredients, stirring well. Finally stir in the goji berries and spoon the mixture into your tin.

Bake for 1 hour (or until a skewer inserted comes out clean). Leave to cool and then dig in to your very own Banana Bread!
